Rodolfo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Valdemar das Neves struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rodolfo Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peladeiros. If Valdemar das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Catole got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Quadros. Rodolfo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Moura went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rodolfo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Moura scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Catole's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Moura came free, but Rodolfo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Moura in the 65th minute of play forced Catole's goalkeeper Rodolfo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Donatello in the 66th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Manuel Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catole's Rodolfo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Catole's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Manuel Moura scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Romero, making the score, 0-6. Peladeiros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
