The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, CD Chinangachi's Vitor Araso got control of the ball when Tudor Caragea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ueli Gantenbein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Araso having to interfere. Maximo Rutges kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. CD Chinangachi's Vitor Araso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save CD Chinangachi from getting a goal against them. If Tudor Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Werdenberg were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after CD Chinangachi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Gunnarsson took the corner. The corner ended in Simon Gunnarsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Chinangachi's Vitor Araso did a great save. Sandrinho Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lajoie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Simon Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Maximo Rutges kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute España Gilavert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, FC Werdenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Moraitis came free, but Manuel Lajoie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Chinangachi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Werdenberg the free kick. After 44 played minutes CD Chinangachi got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Pirani. If Tudor Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Caragea made a kick off. Tudor Caragea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Moraitis in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Lajoie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Werdenberg's Tudor Caragea got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Chinangachi made a substitution. Gillis Verhaghe replaced Nicasio Quintas. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from España Gilavert in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute CD Chinangachi were awarded a corner. Türkeş Nuri went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Türkeş Nuri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Lajoie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from España Gilavert in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, FC Werdenberg's Gökmen Uzkan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitor Araso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Kappel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Nuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by España Gilavert. Volker Unger hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Ueli Gantenbein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vitor Araso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Lajoie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Moraitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Caragea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vitor Araso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
