Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Israel Salazar started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Mascarenhas. After 5 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Padilha. Hermes Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jorge Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Valério stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Braga's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes, Reinaldo Calado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the Teachers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Braga in the 21st minute of play. Jorge Valério showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Teachers FC's Rogério Braga in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponte do Carro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Israel Salazar made a precise shot to the right of Juliano Candeias. Teachers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 36th minute Leal Pádua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Israel Salazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juliano Candeias, 2-0. Israel Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Juliano Candeias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Israel Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte do Carro's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Salazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juliano Candeias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Leal Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jorge Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Paixão hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rogério Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jorge Valério made a huge save. Hermes Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Valério read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The corner led Teachers FC's Humberto Lamego to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Valério despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Braga in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Valério saved Ponte do Carro from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Hermes Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Braga in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Filipe Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Rogério Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teachers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Valério breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. Teachers FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Ponte do Carro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Humberto Lamego took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Abel Vides heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Juliano Candeias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Pacheco in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Humberto Mascarenhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte do Carro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Mascarenhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Teachers FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Valentim Diegues hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Rogério Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Valério saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Teachers FC's zone, Humberto Mascarenhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliano Candeias came out of the goal and Humberto Mascarenhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Salazar in the 88th minute of play forced Teachers FC's goalkeeper Juliano Candeias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anderson de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. António Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Caetano to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ponte do Carro could leave the field as winners, despite Teachers FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
