Spectators: 7602 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danny Simons made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Danny Simons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Houston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Higher Lane FC's Dane Alonzo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Danny Simons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alec Houston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to East Newark FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Forrest Bingham hit a great ball. Alan Lockwood kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Filiberto Herndon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and East Newark FC's Alec Houston didn't even have to move. Jerome Connell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Jerome Connell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alec Houston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Higher Lane FC's Fred Corbett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Crews in the 28th minute of play. Stanford Arias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Stanford Arias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Fred Corbett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stanford Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Corbett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Jerome Connell struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alec Houston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higher Lane FC. Danny Simons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Houston having to interfere. Alec Houston came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Higher Lane FC's Danny Simons. But to his dismay, Danny Simons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rocky Crews to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Dillon Cotton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Higher Lane FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Newark FC the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Higher Lane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Cotton to maneuver through the defense. Higher Lane FC's Fred Corbett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanford Arias in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Danny Simons rounded East Newark FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. If Danny Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanford Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fred Corbett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocky Crews struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Fred Corbett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Newark FC. Fred Corbett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocky Crews in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Higher Lane FC's Danny Simons dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Stanford Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Forrest Bingham fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Newark FC's protests and gave Forrest Bingham a yellow card for diving instead. Forrest Bingham hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Danny Simons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
