In the 7th minute, Wiley Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiley Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Corbett having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Whitney Pearce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Corbett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ward Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 34th minute, Whitney Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Jerome Connell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebio Eaton. Jerome Connell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, UD Azucar's John Mullins got a free kick in the 39th minute. Wiley Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dean Leal came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the UD Azucar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dean Leal couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danny Simons made a kick off. When Jerome Connell came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Higher Lane FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerome Connell couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, UD Azucar's Whitney Pearce got a free kick in the 55th minute. Eusebio Eaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Simons, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Whitney Pearce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Corbett having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, UD Azucar's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Connell came free, but Eusebio Eaton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Azucar's Eusebio Eaton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Simons in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of UD Azucar booed when Higher Lane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Connell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Higher Lane FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Randall. A collision led to Higher Lane FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Danny Simons hit a great ball. Ward Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Corbett having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, John Mullins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fred Corbett, 1-2. Jerome Connell struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Eusebio Eaton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higher Lane FC. Kenny Bagley kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ward Dennison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Fred Corbett made a huge save. UD Azucar played a much better game than Higher Lane FC and deserved their victory. The Higher Lane FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
