Keith Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Corbett having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Danny Simons recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerardo Muller. Danny Simons showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Fred Corbett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hank Keith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Corbett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Keith in the 31st minute of play. Dane Alonzo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Fred Corbett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hank Keith in the 36th minute of the match. Gerardo Muller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Simons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Simons to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Big FC's Bradly Gilliam got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gerardo Muller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Connell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keith Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fred Corbett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Big FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Simons came free, but Gerardo Muller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Higher Lane FC's Danny Simons in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Big FC's zone, Jerome Connell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Muller came out of the goal and Jerome Connell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Hank Keith notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Higher Lane FC's Fred Corbett. Fred Corbett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Big FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
