The long shot by Marcinho Baiano in the 8th minute really tested Pedro Luís Magalhães's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Patrick Baiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Luís Magalhães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the game, Patrick Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pedro Luís Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Galicioli F.C getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marcinho Baiano hit a great ball. Douglas Abreu in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Luís Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Douglas Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Luís Magalhães came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Vivaldo Nogueira hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Patrick Baiano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Luís Magalhães 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Galicioli F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Hermes came free, but Thiago Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Luís Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. In the 45th minute Patrick Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Riograndense FC's zone, Douglas Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Magalhães came out of the goal and Douglas Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Abreu in the 82nd minute of play. When Patrick Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Galicioli F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Baiano couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Baiano in the 88th minute of the match. Hortêncio Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Veloso having to interfere. Pedro Luís Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Baiano in the 95th minute of play. Galicioli F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
