Douglas Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hélder Ferreira made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Gilmar Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Abreu in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Galicioli F.C's Douglas Abreu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. AFC Dachshund's Hélder Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Baiano in the 56th minute of play. Marcinho Baiano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Galicioli F.C's Thiago Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Galicioli F.C from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gilmar Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Dachshund's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Galicioli F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Bastos came free, but Thiago Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Dachshund were furious when Benedito Vidal was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Marcelo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Douglas Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Baiano in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Patrick Baiano notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of AFC Dachshund's Hélder Ferreira. Hélder Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 98th minute of the match Patrick Falcão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrick Falcão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 99th match minute, Galicioli F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Galicioli F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
