Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baroneza's Waldemar Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Waldemar Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baroneza's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Silvério Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Matos was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match Mário Montenegro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldo Vergílio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvério Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Acácio Matos came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvério Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Acácio Matos was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Silvério Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvério Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 29th minute of the match Remo Paraibano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldo Vergílio skillfully saved the ball. Acácio Matos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laerte Paranaense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Silvério Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Waldemar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Acácio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Baroneza booed when Magalhaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Silvério Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Matos was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Luciano Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baroneza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Acácio Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baroneza. In the 55th minute, David Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magalhaes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Waldemar Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Matos having to interfere. Magalhaes's Acácio Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Silveira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Laerte Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Silveira's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The supporters of Baroneza booed when Magalhaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baroneza's Luciano Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Waldemar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play Magalhaes's Claudinei Meirelles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Magalhaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Laerte Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Magalhaes's zone, Silvério Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Matos came out of the goal and Silvério Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Percival Brasil fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magalhaes's protests and gave Percival Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. Percival Brasil hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Silvério Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Matos was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Baroneza's Fausto Mangueira in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magalhaes's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luciano Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, Baroneza's Waldemar Toledo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Acácio Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Baroneza had played much better football throughout.
