In the 3rd minute of the match, Laerte Paranaense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erasmo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Paranaense in the 8th minute. The long shot by Luís Paulo Castro in the 18th minute really tested Erasmo Rodrigues's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paulo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Silvério Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 31st minute Luciano Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Valladares in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Campeche FC's Paulo Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laerte Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laerte Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Baroneza getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eduardo Luz hit a great ball. The supporters of Baroneza booed when Campeche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri Alvarenga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Campeche FC's attentive Iuri Alvarenga managed to snatch the ball when Andrézinho Cearense made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvério Silveira in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Rodrigues saved Campeche FC from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Laerte Paranaense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Rodrigues. The goal made the score 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jaime Pinho made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Campeche FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edinho Lira hit a great ball. Jaime Pinho struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ronaldo Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeche FC. Baroneza's Laerte Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Iuri Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Laerte Paranaense notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Campeche FC's Erasmo Rodrigues. Erasmo Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erasmo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Silveira in the 71st minute of the match. Waldemar Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Rodrigues having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Silveira in the 80th minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Silvério Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baroneza's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Paranaense in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Laerte Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Silvério Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Vergílio having to interfere. There was no doubt that Baroneza were the better team. Baroneza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
