Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geraldo Salgado started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes FC Pankakes got a freekick which was hit by Benê Vinhas. Geraldo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cafu Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Zanette struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Arquímedes Arquett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XURUPITAS AFC. The supporters of XURUPITAS AFC booed when FC Pankakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Faustão Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XURUPITAS AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. José Maria Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arquímedes Arquett having to make a save. Egídio de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Yan Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. XURUPITAS AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arquímedes Arquett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Simões made a kick off. If Hamílton Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arquímedes Arquett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Zanette in the 81st minute. FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pankakes from getting a goal against them. Toninho de Queiroz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. XURUPITAS AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
