The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Simões in the 5th minute of play forced Tactics DC's goalkeeper Olívio Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Mineiro in the 7th minute of play. Jefferson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cafu Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Jefferson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Mineiro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Maria Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Simões during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, XURUPITAS AFC's José Maria Simões got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jefferson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cafu Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, XURUPITAS AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Mineiro came free, but Cafu Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Cesinha do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tactics DC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Tactics DC's Rogério Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Tactics DC's Rogério Mineiro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XURUPITAS AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guilherme Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Maciel having to interfere. José Maria Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Rogério Mineiro in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Zanette in the 65th minute of play forced Tactics DC's goalkeeper Olívio Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rogério Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XURUPITAS AFC's Cafu Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Carlos Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cafu Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Rogério Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77thth minute of the game Rogério Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XURUPITAS AFC's Cafu Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléber Carvalho scored 0-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cafu Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Guilherme Zanette notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tactics DC's Olívio Maciel. Olívio Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogério Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jefferson Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, XURUPITAS AFC's goalkeeper Cafu Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Mineiro. A collision led to XURUPITAS AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paulinho Silva hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Tactics DC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XURUPITAS AFC.
