Gio Ubels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin van Aalderen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Waard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gio Ubels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Heythuysen's goal looked a bit too open when Robert-Jan Schild came free, but Lex van der Werff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Steven Waard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heythuysen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harmole HC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Heythuysen's Steven Waard got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Harmole HC's Gio Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin van Aalderen in the 28th minute of play. Gio Ubels was a little too slow when Auke van As got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Robin van Aalderen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gio Ubels saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gio Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Auke van As, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Harmole HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heythuysen the free kick. After 92 played minutes Harmole HC got a freekick which was hit by Martijn Waterreus. After having played for 93 minutes, Auke van As managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heythuysen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Auke van As was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Reinhard van Kempen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heythuysen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Harmole HC for a fine match.
