Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert-Jan Schild took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the PSV Eindhoven defense, Robert-Jan Schild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alwin Baatenburg. The PSV Eindhoven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alwin Baatenburg should have stopped the shot. Ton Staarman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ton Staarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gio Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Tevreden in the 20th minute of the match. When Ton Staarman came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the PSV Eindhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ton Staarman couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Ton Staarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Harmole HC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Reinhard van Kempen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Peter Dijkstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harmole HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Dijkstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alwin Baatenburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert-Jan Schild who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Alwin Baatenburg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes in the game, Robert-Jan Schild dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert-Jan Schild got free with Alwin Baatenburg in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Dijkstra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Harmole HC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd minute of the match Arie Okkes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alwin Baatenburg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Peter Dijkstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Giel Fikkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, PSV Eindhoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriaan van Steensel to maneuver through the defense.

Gio Ubels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theo Tevreden in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Arie Okkes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Harmole HC's zone, Theo Tevreden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gio Ubels came out of the goal and Theo Tevreden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theo Tevreden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Gio Ubels skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gio Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie van der Schaaf in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PSV Eindhoven's zone, Peter Dijkstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alwin Baatenburg came out of the goal and Peter Dijkstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Peter Dijkstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alwin Baatenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert-Jan Schild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbie van der Schaaf hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Robert-Jan Schild made a precise shot to the right of Alwin Baatenburg. PSV Eindhoven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the PSV Eindhoven players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Harmole HC.
