Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wouter van Zeijl started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes, Hoetmansmeer's Sander Schaeffer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gio Ubels came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hoetmansmeer reached it. Sven van Putten kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Sven van Putten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Sven van Putten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harmole HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven van Putten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hoetmansmeer's Elbert Greef got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes, Elbert Greef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoetmansmeer and the Harmole HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Hoetmansmeer got a freekick which was hit by Elbert Greef. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Sven van Putten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Harmole HC's Reinhard van Kempen suffered a concussion after 21 minutes and had to leave the field. Peter Dijkstra took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ate Bruintjes. Ate Bruintjes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Hoetmansmeer's goalkeeper Ate Bruintjes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert-Jan Schild. In the 29th minute Bruno Need shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Hoetmansmeer's Wouter van Zeijl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gio Ubels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, Harmole HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Dijkstra to maneuver through the defense. Hoetmansmeer's Alexander Kosterman got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Harmole HC defense, Wouter van Zeijl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gio Ubels. The Harmole HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gio Ubels should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hoetmansmeer's Elbert Greef got a free kick in the 38th minute. Hoetmansmeer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Giel Fikkers scored to the left of an out of position Ate Bruintjes, making the score, 2-2. In the 44th minute, Giel Fikkers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert-Jan Schild's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Ate Bruintjes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robert-Jan Schild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ate Bruintjes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

If Sven van Putten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ate Bruintjes came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Harmole HC's Robert-Jan Schild. But to his dismay, Robert-Jan Schild quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Sven van Putten struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ate Bruintjes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harmole HC. Ate Bruintjes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert-Jan Schild in the 59th minute of the match. Ate Bruintjes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Dijkstra in the 60th minute of play. Peter Dijkstra scored 4-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ate Bruintjes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Peter Dijkstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gio Ubels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wouter van Zeijl in the 69th minute of play. Ate Bruintjes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert-Jan Schild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Dijkstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ate Bruintjes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Giel Fikkers made a precise shot to the right of Ate Bruintjes. Hoetmansmeer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Elbert Greef got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Hoetmansmeer's Elbert Greef got a free kick in the 85th minute. Sven van Putten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Hoetmansmeer's goal looked a bit too open when Robert-Jan Schild came free, but Ate Bruintjes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ate Bruintjes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven van Putten went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Harmole HC were the better team. Harmole HC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
