Daniel Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin-Maximilian Melchert in the 3rd minute of the match. Erasmo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Tasso having to interfere. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Tasso. Daniel Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin-Maximilian Melchert in the 15th minute of play forced Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Urussui's Serginho Meirelles got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Simão de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão de Sena went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Audax Paulista booed when Urussui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urussui's Daniel Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin-Maximilian Melchert in the 31st minute of play. The Audax Paulista fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Audax Paulista's Constantin-Maximilian Melchert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Tasso having to interfere.
Lúcio Eger struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Daniel Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Audax Paulista. After a rather tough play, Urussui's Edgard Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hélio Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Daniel Tasso made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Urussui's zone, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Tasso came out of the goal and Constantin-Maximilian Melchert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 68th playminute. After a rather tough play, Audax Paulista's Constantin-Maximilian Melchert got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Urussui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin-Maximilian Melchert, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Tasso. Urussui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantin-Maximilian Melchert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Lúcio Eger hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Erasmo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Daniel Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Audax Paulista! If Rodrigo Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sílvio Luiz Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Urussui fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Audax Paulista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
