The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 6th minute, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, FC Morgenau's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erasmo Estevon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Audax Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Linares came free, but Thomás Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Cerezo in the 12th minute of the match. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin-Maximilian Melchert ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Morgenau's Laércio Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Morgenau from getting a goal against them. Audax Paulista's Rodrigo Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laércio Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Estevon in the 22nd minute of the match. Thomás Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton da Silveira in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Morgenau's zone, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fellipe Linares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomás Sarmento firmly grabbed it by the left post. Afonsinho Furlan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Constantin-Maximilian Melchert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Sarmento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Paranaense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Oscar Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thomás Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Audax Paulista's Sílvio Luiz Paraense got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laércio Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Oscar Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Audax Paulista's Rodrigo Vasconcelos made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lúcio Eger's late challenge caught a FC Morgenau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Eger helped the player get up and apologised. Lúcio Eger hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Maicon Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomás Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. If Constantin-Maximilian Melchert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Erasmo Estevon made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Souto. FC Morgenau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. With a little luck, Audax Paulista's Thomás Sarmento got control of the ball when Fellipe Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Audax Paulista's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
