In the 7th match minute, esgna gado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Pinho to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Diguinho Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. esgna gado's Reynaldo Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Estevon in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Constantin-Maximilian Melchert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Audax Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin-Maximilian Melchert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Audax Paulista booed when esgna gado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Cristiano Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Reynaldo Cruz came out of the goal and Constantin-Maximilian Melchert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomás Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Alcântara in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Audax Paulista players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
