Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martial Jay kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet got control of the ball when Giorgos Lagos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Giorgos Lagos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Lagos took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valérien Jouglet. Valérien Jouglet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Argyris Kalaitzidiss short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Valérien Jouglet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Stade Ygossais from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Sheriff were awarded a corner. Giannis Basinas went to the cornerflag to take it. Sheriff's Giannis Basinas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valérien Jouglet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the game, Giorgos Lagos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Valérien Jouglet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Lagos came free, but Valérien Jouglet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Giorgos Lagos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valérien Jouglet. Giorgos Lagos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. After 47 played minutes Stade Ygossais got a freekick which was hit by Terry Constant. Sheriff's Dimitris Kabitsis was substituted for Sakis Panagoulis. A collision led to Stade Ygossais getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Terry Constant hit a great ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Lagos in the 53rd minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Valérien Jouglet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Sheriff's Argyris Kalaitzidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Argyris Kalaitzidis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Giorgos Lagos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Stade Ygossais defense, Giorgos Lagos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valérien Jouglet. The Stade Ygossais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valérien Jouglet should have stopped the shot. Valérien Jouglet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Basinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valérien Jouglet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Lagos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
