Fabrice Caillot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Verrecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Farid Verrecchia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 20 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goal looked a bit too open when Clovis Janvier came free, but Fabrice Caillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrice Caillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clovis Janvier in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jaime Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cédric Louison struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lev Yashin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stade Ygossais. Fabrice Caillot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nolan Roux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrice Caillot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Roux in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrice Caillot saved Stade Ygossais from getting behind. Fabrice Caillot came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Le Stade Briochin UC's Nolan Roux. But to his dismay, Nolan Roux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Farid Verrecchia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Stade Ygossais players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Le Stade Briochin UC were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Tabor to make the kick off. Hector Jacquier charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Jacquier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Jacquier kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jaime Tabor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrice Caillot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Pierre-Louis Eudeline kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Donatien Filoche came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Sauze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stade Ygossais's Martial Jay was substituted for Donatien Filoche. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Graziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Stade Ygossais's Fabrice Caillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clovis Janvier in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Dimitri Nedellec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrice Caillot, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Farid Verrecchia got free with Fabrice Caillot in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
