Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Kouzoulakis in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kouzoulakis in the 15th minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Léo Velloso got control of the ball when Clayton Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kouzoulakis came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Nikos Kouzoulakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Velloso made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Emmanouil Paltopoulos sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Emmanouil Paltopoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Léo Velloso. Emmanouil Paltopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Clayton Gol from a close distance when the talented Léo Velloso managed to make a qualified save. KAFSONAS F.C.'s players were relieved. Léo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clayton Gol to make the kick off. If Emmanouil Paltopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clayton Gol in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Velloso. KAFSONAS F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Gol in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Velloso saved KAFSONAS F.C. from getting behind. Akakios Kaikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia van der Saar having to interfere. Léo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Lianos in the 67th minute of the match. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Léo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Gol in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kouzoulakis came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clayton Gol scored 5-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Léo Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
