When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fausto Savier sped through Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enio Aparecido. Enio Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Gabrio in the 21st minute of play. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Enio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Savier in the 23rd minute of play. Dieguinho Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Camilo Baudelio made a huge save. In the 27th minute Fausto Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Savier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Bruninho Nóbrega got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 42 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Arce. The supporters of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG booed when ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
