The crowd rose to their feet as Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's José Pedro Vides slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ture Sörman. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sävar IK's goalkeeper Ture Sörman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG were awarded a corner. Breno Tasso went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Sävar IK's zone, Túlio Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ture Sörman came out of the goal and Túlio Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ture Sörman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Flavinho Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When José Pedro Vides came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Vides couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG booed when Sävar IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Sörman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Brasil in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Túlio Brasil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Percival Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Gutierrez in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ture Sörman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Masciarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Percival Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Sörman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ture Sörman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Tasso in the 65th minute of the match. Thomas Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Thomas Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sergio Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävar IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Gutierrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Breno Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ture Sörman. Sävar IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ture Sörman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Percival Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG from getting a goal against them. Sävar IK's Ture Sörman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Tasso in the 91st minute of play. Percival Munhoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Biagio Masciarelli went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Sävar IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
