Elias Aguiar scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anísio Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anísio Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Genílson Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Canhoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biguassu EC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Genílson Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Anísio Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rony Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Prata took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anísio Paranaense. Anísio Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After the first half Clube Atlético Canhoba were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Allan Valle hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Narciso Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rony Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Canhoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anísio Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anísio Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gernando de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gernando de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Biguassu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Biguassu EC's Anísio Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Varela in the 66th minute of play. Gernando de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando de Queiroz in the 84th minute of play. Gernando de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Lara having to interfere. If Alfredinho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alfredão Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Clube Atlético Canhoba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
