An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Nascimento in the 6th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Canhoba's goalkeeper Alfredão Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Reinaldo Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredão Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Canhoba's Allan Valle got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Reginaldo de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfredão Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Durvalino Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Durvalino Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alfredão Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredão Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo de Toledo in the 25th minute of play. Alfredão Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rony Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Rocha was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Narciso Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Lara came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paranagi's Reginaldo de Toledo. But to his dismay, Reginaldo de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 39th minute, Durvalino Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredão Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Clube Atlético Canhoba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paranagi were winning 0-4.

After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Canhoba's zone, Durvalino Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Lara came out of the goal and Durvalino Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Varela in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Prata in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Rocha saved Paranagi from getting behind. Durvalino Nascimento hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Nascimento in the 73rd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Canhoba's goalkeeper Alfredão Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Rubinho Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Clube Atlético Canhoba got a freekick which was hit by Allan Valle. The audience was convinced that Durvalino Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Lara was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Reginaldo de Toledo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Lara. Alfredão Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Durvalino Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Lara having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paranagi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
