Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Luiz Fernando Lira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Zerya Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Lira couldn't finish the play. Matheus Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Matheus Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guiomar AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, one of Zerya Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zerya Football Club. If Almir Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Inácio Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rubens Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Rubens Maia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 36 in the game by Christian de Souza from a close distance when the talented Rubens Maia managed to make a qualified save. Guiomar AD's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Christian de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Albertinho da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiomar AD's protests and gave Albertinho da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Guiomar AD got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho da Rocha. Christian de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rubens Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Luiz Fernando Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zerya Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 62nd minute, Nilmar Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Luiz Fernando Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Maia having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian de Souza in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubens Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guiomar AD's goalkeeper Rubens Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rubens Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubens Maia having to make a save. Luiz Fernando Lira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zerya Football Club's zone, Almir Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Alagoano came out of the goal and Almir Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Christian de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zerya Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
