Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian de Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Christian de Souza from a close distance when the talented Pedro Paulo Sena managed to make a qualified save. Os Cientistas F.C's players were relieved. Chiquinho Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Salgado in the 6th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Os Cientistas F.C's Pedro Paulo Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Os Cientistas F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute of the match Zerya Football Club got a corner. Os Cientistas F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian de Souza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Paulo Sena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Zerya Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cleiton Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Paulo José Paraense scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Alagoano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pedro Paulo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christian de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, Zerya Football Club's Chiquinho Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Paulo Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 34th minute, Os Cientistas F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian de Souza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Paulo Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian de Souza in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Luís Gustavo Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Os Cientistas F.C's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Massa. Gildo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Sena having to interfere. If Oscar Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian de Souza in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Sena saved Os Cientistas F.C from getting behind. Gil Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Paulo José Paraense sent off a good shot on target. After 57 played minutes Os Cientistas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Aguiar. Christian de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Paulo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Christian de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zerya Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After having played for 72 minutes, Luís Gustavo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zerya Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo José Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Cleiton Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Christian de Souza put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Paulo Sena. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Christian de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zerya Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zerya Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
