Pedro Paulo Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Paulo Aguiar's late challenge caught a FC Buteco Dos Noobs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the Os Cientistas F.C and the FC Buteco Dos Noobs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
