Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Brasil got the match started through his kick off. Rubens Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro de Alcântara in the 8th minute of the match. Ramiro de Alcântara took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Maia. Rubens Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Guiomar AD's Almir Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Matheus Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Augusto da Mata was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Benjamin Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almir Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pedro Augusto da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Guiomar AD's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Arce came free, but Rubens Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro de Alcântara in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubens Maia was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Benjamin Arce made the kick off in the second half. When Ramiro de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Canan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Benjamin Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guiomar AD getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Albertinho da Rocha hit a great ball. Rubens Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Guiomar AD's Rubens Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Arce in the 64th minute of play. Canan FC's Ramiro de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Benjamin Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guiomar AD's Rubens Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Almir Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rubens Maia came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Canan FC's Ramiro de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Ramiro de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ramiro de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guiomar AD's Rubens Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Arce in the 83rd minute of play. Benjamin Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rubens Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Benjamin Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro de Alcântara got free with Rubens Maia in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Albertinho da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guiomar AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canan FC the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, Guiomar AD's goalkeeper Rubens Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro de Alcântara. The Guiomar AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canan FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
