Horácio Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Diguinho Cunha made a huge save. After 86 minutes of play, Los Hurricanes's Victor Costa made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diguinho Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Horácio Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Diguinho Cunha. Borba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. When Horácio Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Los Hurricanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Catarinense couldn't finish the play. If Jacinto Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Los Hurricanes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borba throughout the match.
