Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horácio Catarinense got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Queluz SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Pontes to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horácio Catarinense in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Amaral saved Queluz SC from getting behind. Evaristo Amaral made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Durval de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Adhemar Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval de Alcântara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. When Carlos Augusto Veloso fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queluz SC's protests and gave Carlos Augusto Veloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Carlos Augusto Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Horácio Catarinense sped through Queluz SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Amaral. Durval de Alcântara took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Amaral. Evaristo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Virgílio Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Adhemar Pombal took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Mandrak. Baltazar Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Evaristo Amaral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Serginho Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Felipe Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Baltazar Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adhemar Pombal was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Durval de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Evaristo Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Evaristo Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Catarinense went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. If Horácio Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Durval de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Odol in the 70th minute of play. Evaristo Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval de Alcântara went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horácio Catarinense in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Amaral saved Queluz SC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Costa during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victor Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Horácio Catarinense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Amaral was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Queluz SC's Felipe Pontes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Evaristo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, Los Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Costa to maneuver through the defense. Los Hurricanes's Baltazar Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Pombal in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Los Hurricanes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
