The Lemon Haze FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdomiro Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney de Carvalho in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Sydney de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crobas EC's Valdomiro Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdomiro Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. If Edson Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Lemon Haze FC's Anísio Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Salles in the 53rd minute of play. Sydney de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Valdomiro Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Salles in the 60th minute of the match. Anísio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Vargas in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sydney de Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdomiro Bueno was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. With a little luck, Crobas EC's Valdomiro Bueno got control of the ball when Sydney de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Paulo Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lemon Haze FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
