Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) FERRÃO's Fiori Matos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Vicente Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Valdomiro Bueno. Crobas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Valdomiro Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Cacá Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Crobas EC's Valdomiro Bueno did a great save. Vicente Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Fonseca in the 15th minute of play forced Crobas EC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Crobas EC's Edson Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdomiro Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Matos in the 23rd minute of play. Edson Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crobas EC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Rossi scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Matos in the 34th minute of play forced Crobas EC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, FERRÃO's Vicente Rossi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdomiro Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edson Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Vicente Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, José Augusto de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Valdomiro Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

With his leg Valdomiro Bueno managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when FERRÃO's Fiori Matos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Crobas EC's Valdomiro Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Crobas EC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, José Augusto de Andrade took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Valdomiro Bueno to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute, FERRÃO's Vicente Rossi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdomiro Bueno. Valdomiro Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 74 minutes into the match, Fiori Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdomiro Bueno. Crobas EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiori Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Bernardo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fiori Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Valdomiro Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Vicente Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdomiro Bueno. Vicente Rossi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 94th minute Vicente Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Matos in the 96th minute. FERRÃO played a much better game than Crobas EC and deserved their victory. The Crobas EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
