Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carmelo Enaut kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Carmelo Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Ramirez in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Eulalio Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Jaime Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Bartolo Herrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Claus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, MANDIYU's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Herrera came free, but Lucio Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Bartolo Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Claus. MANDIYU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Bartolo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Enaut came free, but Patricio Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's zone, Manuel Jenaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Peyo came out of the goal and Manuel Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Patricio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Herrera in the 44th minute of play forced MANDIYU's goalkeeper Lucio Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 47th minute of play forced C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's goalkeeper Patricio Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Herrera made a kick off. The supporters of C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino booed when MANDIYU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Bartolo Herrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucio Claus. Bartolo Herrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Patricio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 59th minute of play. Lucio Claus made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jaime Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Enaut in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Peyo saved C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Manuel Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MANDIYU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MANDIYU's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Bartolo Herrera scored to the left of an out of position Lucio Claus, making the score, 0-3. In the 75th minute Carmelo Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Sanson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Carmelo Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MANDIYU lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
