Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) When Carmelo Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the MANDIYU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Enaut couldn't finish the play. Independiente FC's Ariel Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 13th minute of play. Urbano Guillelme's late challenge caught a MANDIYU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Guillelme helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MANDIYU booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's Ceferino Matai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Claus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Jenaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ariel Montel made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Ceferino Matai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucio Claus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Fabricio Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabricio Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Montel having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Manuel Jenaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carmelo Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The MANDIYU players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independiente FC were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Manuel Jenaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Fabricio Mannuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MANDIYU's Lucio Claus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Enaut came free, but Ariel Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Independiente FC's Ariel Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Urbano Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Sanson charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Sanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateo Sanson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Fabricio Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Matai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Lucio Claus made a huge save. Manuel Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Montel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carmelo Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANDIYU's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ceferino Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Independiente FC's Fabricio Mannuel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 94th match minute, Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Rodas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MANDIYU lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
