Ernesto Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Bartolo Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ernesto Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacobo Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Ramirez took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Birila. Ernesto Birila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Bartolo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes 653 united got a freekick which was hit by German Mattin. Ernesto Birila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Ramirez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind 653 united's goalkeeper Ernesto Birila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, German Mattin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Peyo. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Mattin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Mattin made a kick off. Jaime Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ernesto Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Bartolo Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Birila having to interfere. Bartolo Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Jaime Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Birila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bartolo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ernesto Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Birila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Herrera went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. German Mattin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bartolo Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino were the better team. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
