Ştefan Popan started the match with the kick off. Florin Lupu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Ghionea having to interfere. A collision led to Caraaci FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eugen Bodiu hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marian Graur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moise Ghionea. Caraaci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Graur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Florin Lupu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Moise Ghionea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Ghionea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Lupu in the 16th minute of the match. Florin Petrescu was a little too slow when Ştefan Popan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Petrică Fecioru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caraaci FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argestru CS the free kick. Petrică Fecioru hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Marian Graur made a precise shot to the right of Moise Ghionea. Caraaci FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Horea Tudoran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Florin Petrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Marian Graur made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Caraaci FC's zone, Florin Lupu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Ghionea came out of the goal and Florin Lupu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Graur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marian Graur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Alin Bălace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Graur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Marius Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caraaci FC's Moise Ghionea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Caraaci FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Caraaci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Graur came free, but Moise Ghionea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argestru CS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
