Moise Ghionea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Ghionea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Elenescu in the 18th minute of play. Ştefan Popan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baldovin having to interfere. Sebastian Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Popan in the 26th minute of the match. Sebastian Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Popan in the 32nd minute of play. Ştefan Popan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sebastian Baldovin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ştefan Popan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciao-Ciao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 44th minute Romeo Ciorogaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Ghionea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Moise Ghionea made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Romeo Ciorogaru sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Caraaci FC's Moise Ghionea got control of the ball when Romeo Ciorogaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Fecioru charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Fecioru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Caraaci FC's Petrică Fecioru got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Caraaci FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Teodor. If Horea Tudoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Ciorogaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Ghionea having to interfere. Moise Ghionea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Ciorogaru got free with Moise Ghionea in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, Caraaci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Mazăre to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Valeriu Proca from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Moise Ghionea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Augustin Elenescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Ciao-Ciao's Augustin Elenescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Moise Ghionea came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciao-Ciao's Romeo Ciorogaru. But to his dismay, Romeo Ciorogaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Caraaci FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciao-Ciao's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciao-Ciao.
