In the 3rd match minute, Ciao-Ciao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Proca to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes Ciao-Ciao got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Milcoveanu. If Romeo Ciorogaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Cordario hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ertunç Önateş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Elenescu in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Viorel Milcoveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciao-Ciao and the Ghost Team 2007 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Iliescu in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Marcu Ponor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghost Team 2007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Elenescu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ertunç Önateş saved Ghost Team 2007 from getting behind. Augustin Elenescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ertunç Önateş came out and tried to block the shot, but Augustin Elenescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 33rd minute. Remus Moisil hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Marcu Ponor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Ghost Team 2007's Irinel Iliescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Baldovin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codrin Văduva during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Ciao-Ciao got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Văduva. Marcu Ponor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baldovin having to interfere. Ciao-Ciao's Viorel Milcoveanu got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Viorel Milcoveanu off the ground. Marcu Ponor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baldovin having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Ciorogaru was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Iliescu in the 61st minute of play. Romeo Ciorogaru scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ertunç Önateş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codrin Văduva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ciorogaru in the 69th minute of play forced Ghost Team 2007's goalkeeper Ertunç Önateş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Ponor took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Baldovin. Sebastian Baldovin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ciao-Ciao's Remus Moisil got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sebastian Baldovin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Teofil in the 78th minute. Marcu Ponor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sebastian Baldovin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irinel Iliescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Baldovin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irinel Iliescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Irinel Iliescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Iliescu in the 97th minute of the match.
