The audience thought a goal was coming when Klemensas Labuckas got free with Dangiras Labuckas in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, one of Royal Club Siauliai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Royal Club Siauliai. In the 87th minute Svajūnas Petronis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonsas Kančelskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Royal Club Siauliai's Daugirdas Burneika sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonsas Kančelskis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
