After 3 played minutes FC Ariux got a freekick which was hit by Zigmas Mikalauskas. In the 8th minute, Svajūnas Petronis made a precise shot to the right of Eurelijus Stanišauskas. FC Ariux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Benjaminas Buitkus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dangiras Labuckas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 13 minutes into the game, Girkantas Katilius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ariux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Club Siauliai the free kick. When Antanas Kiela fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ariux's protests and gave Antanas Kiela a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Ariux's Antanas Kiela got a free kick in the 18th minute. Svajūnas Petronis came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eurelijus Stanišauskas could save by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, FC Ariux's goalkeeper Eurelijus Stanišauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svajūnas Petronis. Royal Club Siauliai's Daugirdas Burneika got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Royal Club Siauliai booed when FC Ariux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Girkantas Katilius didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Svajūnas Petronis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laimutis Dabašinskas made a kick off. Daugirdas Burneika succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. When Royal Club Siauliai's Svajūnas Petronis in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ariux's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute Kęstutis Pekšys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurelijus Stanišauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurelijus Stanišauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kęstutis Pekšys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daugirdas Burneika's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurelijus Stanišauskas was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Svajūnas Petronis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurelijus Stanišauskas was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 82 minutes of play FC Ariux's Girkantas Katilius was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Girkantas Katilius hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Daugirdas Burneika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Eurelijus Stanišauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Club Siauliai's zone, Benjaminas Buitkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dangiras Labuckas came out of the goal and Benjaminas Buitkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Klemensas Bakštys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daugirdas Burneika in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurelijus Stanišauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Royal Club Siauliai fully deserved thier win.
