Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Telmo Vander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the PAIA FC defense, Telmo Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matheus Zanette. The PAIA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matheus Zanette should have stopped the shot. Matheus Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Vander in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Sucuriju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Paes to maneuver through the defense. Matheus Zanette came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sucuriju's Telmo Vander. But to his dismay, Telmo Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Telmo Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Antônio Carlos Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matheus Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Sucuriju's Telmo Vander in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAIA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Matheus Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Antônio Carlos Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, PAIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Vander came free, but Matheus Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Vander in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Adolfo Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sucuriju fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 41 minutes, Telmo Vander made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. PAIA FC's Matheus Zanette tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Mendes to make the kick off. The supporters of PAIA FC booed when Sucuriju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Egídio Mendes notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sucuriju's Claudinei Neto. Claudinei Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antônio Carlos Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Carlos Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Vander in the 71st minute of play. Antônio Carlos Magalhães's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matheus Zanette firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 73rd minute, Egídio Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes, Adolfo Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sucuriju and the PAIA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of PAIA FC booed when Sucuriju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. PAIA FC's Marcos Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Vander in the 79th minute of play. Matheus Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Vander in the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Telmo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sucuriju's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matheus Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Sucuriju's Antônio Carlos Magalhães made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matheus Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sucuriju walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
