Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ipuzinho's Ademar Furtado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ademar Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sucuriju's Claudinei Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sucuriju's goalkeeper Claudinei Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kaká Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Magalhães in the 16th minute of play forced Ipuzinho's goalkeeper Bruno Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sucuriju's Kaká Marquez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bruno Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Kaká Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Marquez in the 42nd minute. Sucuriju's Claudinei Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson de Brito in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Magalhães made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sucuriju's Kaká Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Nunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Ipuzinho's Aílton Prestes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Antônio Carlos Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bruno Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sucuriju. After 64 minutes of play, Sucuriju's Enrique Paes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69thth minute of the game Kaká Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipuzinho's Bruno Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Carlos Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Ipuzinho got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Branco. Kléberson de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ipuzinho's Bruno Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Marquez in the 81st minute of play. When Sucuriju's Kaká Marquez in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ipuzinho's goalie prevented a goal.
