Natural Born Grillers's Joseph Kästner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Brüning in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Lars Heinzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sergej Maluga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Kästner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Brüning in the 27th minute of play. Joseph Kästner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergej Maluga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Kästner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Björn Jensch. Lars Heinzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Natural Born Grillers's Joseph Kästner got control of the ball when Lars Brüning tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Natural Born Grillers got a freekick which was hit by Henning Oyan. Sergej Maluga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Kusel's Lars Brüning got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Brüning struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joseph Kästner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kusel. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sergej Maluga managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kusel's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergej Maluga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Kästner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Brüning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, FC Kusel's Siegfried Hug broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. FC Kusel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
