A wasted opportunity for Haus Milte. 14 minutes into the match, Haus Milte's Bernd Hamann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Krampitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Stefan Bebel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stefan Bebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henning Oyan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stephan Rauhaus. Haus Milte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haus Milte's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tillmann Marks 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Faruk Poll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Rauhaus having to interfere. When Bernd Hamann came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Haus Milte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernd Hamann couldn't finish the play. Claus Krampitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Hamann, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieter Helmer during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Bebel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Haus Milte booed when Natural Born Grillers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Oberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Bebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernd Hamann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Claus Krampitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernd Hamann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Natural Born Grillers's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bebel came free, but Claus Krampitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sevim Povel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claus Krampitz made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bernd Hamann sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Haus Milte's Stefan Bebel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claus Krampitz. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. 89 minutes into the game, Philipp Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Natural Born Grillers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haus Milte the free kick. The supporters of Haus Milte booed when Natural Born Grillers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natural Born Grillers's Claus Krampitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Natural Born Grillers from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes, Gregor Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haus Milte and the Natural Born Grillers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Haus Milte got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Schmidt. In the 95th minute Natural Born Grillers were awarded a corner. Fabien Oberle went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fabien Oberle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stephan Rauhaus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Stefan Bebel came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Haus Milte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Bebel couldn't finish the play. Haus Milte played a much better game than Natural Born Grillers and deserved their victory. The Natural Born Grillers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
