Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusébio de Mendonça kicked off to start the match. Kléber Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Valadares having to interfere. Kléber Arósio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juninho Valadares came out and tried to block the shot, but Kléber Arósio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Juninho Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Koehler. Alexandre Costa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Saldanha in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Valadares saved Santo Amaro AC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kléber Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rezende FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cícero Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Juninho Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezende FC. In the 18thth minute of the game Cícero Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Juninho Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Tróia struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Luciano Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Amaro AC. Juninho Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Saldanha in the 22nd minute of the match. Aloísio Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Leandro Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Saldanha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Juninho Valadares 38 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Juninho Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Juninho Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute Cícero Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rezende FC's Luciano Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio de Mendonça in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Rezende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Rezende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rezende FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jorginho Koehler hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Rezende FC's Cícero Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cícero Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Valadares was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Rezende FC's Cícero Saldanha in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santo Amaro AC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th match minute, Rezende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Lima's late challenge caught a Santo Amaro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rezende FC! In the 84thth minute of the game Cícero Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Juninho Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juninho Valadares came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Rezende FC's Cícero Saldanha. But to his dismay, Cícero Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Eusébio de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Breckenfeld having to interfere. Santo Amaro AC's Juninho Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Guimarães in the 93rd minute of play. When Cícero Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Rezende FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Saldanha couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rezende FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santo Amaro AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
