Bebeto Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute Eduard Polozov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Ernani Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Pawlik came free, but Bebeto Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Sanches came free, but Hudson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Cipriano Hermes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bebeto Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincent Pawlik's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Giovanni Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Hermes was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Eduard Polozov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Polozov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bebeto Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Polozov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bebeto Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincent Pawlik went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's Cipriano Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Pawlik came free, but Bebeto Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Haridades F.C's Giovanni Corrêa in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
