The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Lara got free with Raimundo Ramone in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Constantino Miro made a precise shot to the right of Clóvis Sergipano. Goblins F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Willian Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goblins F.C. and the NECKER49 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willian Carioca hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Justo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NECKER49's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goblins F.C. the free kick. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Eleuterio Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NECKER49 and the Goblins F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half NECKER49 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Torres made a kick off. Raimundo Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis de Almeida in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Dênis de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Ramone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Anier Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Sergipano was a little too slow when Pablo Flor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 77th minute, Willian Carioca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goblins F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Dênis de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
