Forever Tango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Tipi in the 34th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie and right to Cláudio Paiva. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Jimeno Idacio scored to the left of an out of position Geovânio de Medeiros, making the score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Montez was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Geovânio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Uzuri in the 77th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Matorin hit a great ball. 95 minutes in the game Eriberto de Queiroz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tony Vianna. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
