Through a series of nice moves, Forever Tango's Arnaldo Tipi on his own came free in the 16th minute of the match and shot 1-0 behind a disappointed Everardo Mingo. After 23 played minutes Forever Tango got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Uzuri. After some careless play in the Forever Tango defense, Arnoldo Xabel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Montez. The Forever Tango fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Montez should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nemesio Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Ubelteso in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Clemente Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forever Tango's Nemesio Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Xabel in the 63rd minute of play. Bonifacio Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Clemente Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Clemente Ezkerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2.
